In conversation with each other, they discuss their unique and shared experiences navigating health crises during these uncertain times, the limitations of healthcare systems for people of color and the LGBTQ community and what 2020 has taught them about living in the present.
Andria Wilson Mirza
Andria Wilson is a queer film producer and executive, most recently serving as the executive director of the Inside Out LGBTQ Film Festival in Toronto, Canada. In October of 2020, while in post-production on a short film and consulting on an industry initiative to bring together 50 top television writers with 50 leading behavioral scientists, Andria was diagnosed with cervical cancer and is currently two weeks post-op from a radical trachelectomy.

Tom Silcott
Tom Silcott has been an actor for over twenty years with appearances including the national tour of Bring in da’Noise, Bring in da’Funk, Off Broadway plays and guest starring roles on shows like This Is Us. Originally from Boston, Tom lives in Los Angeles. He spends these quarantine days, writing, playing music and spending time with his three children until he can reclaim the momentum of his career. He is six weeks post-of from a radical prostatectomy.
